Why should you work at Bara Studio?

Bara Studio is not a classic fashion label, but a sustainable DIY label.

You can sew all the products that can be found in the shop yourself. You will find everything you need in the shop. Fabrics, trimmings, patterns or even complete DIY kits. All products are sustainably produced and selected. Do you enjoy fashion and want to take a look behind the scenes of a start-up? Maybe you want to start a fashion label yourself? Then this is your chance to work with someone who has worked in the clothing industry for many years and can give you a lot of insights.

The Bara Studio office is located in the heart of Munich, directly in the English Garden, at Sederanger 5. So nothing stands in the way of a lunch break in the countryside! You are also welcome to work from home on a daily basis.

Compulsory internship in the field of e-commerce / product development / fashion design - textiles & clothing

    Entry possible at any time

During this internship, I offer you the opportunity to develop and contribute your own ideas, to manage and supervise projects independently, and to continuously develop yourself together with Bara Studio. You can help decide how you structure your everyday work and your tasks and you can implement your theoretical knowledge in everyday start-up life. As my online shop continues to grow, there are many more opportunities for you to get creative.

    What are your possible tasks?

    • Participation in the planning, creation and publication of content on our website (blog articles, product pages, picture galleries), on social media (Instagram and Facebook) and other platforms (e.g. Pinterest)
    • Participation in the development of new collections, visits to suppliers and trade fairs
    • Order picking including customer service, returns management and shipping processing
    • Maintenance of the online shop including creation of product images, texts and inventory.
    • Planning and implementation of live streams, product launches and campaigns
    • Support for content creation for Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and TikTok
    • Support for our cooperation partners and marketplaces

Big plus: you can sew? That would be a perfect match! When developing new patterns or for photo shoots, new patterns are constantly needed.

What are you allowed to bring?
    • Fun at work: Even if there are phases that are more strenuous, the top priority should always be that you enjoy working and having fun with it! I'm speaking from experience, because after I was on the verge of a herniated disc due to psychological stress at work, I see it as essential that everyone appreciates deal with each other.
    • Personal responsibility and careful work: You complete the tasks assigned to you independently and carefully. This also means that you ask for help if anything is unclear (google can often help too). You don't expect to be given every piece of information, but to request it yourself when you lack information to complete the task.
    • Thinking: Do you notice something that doesn't make sense? A task assigned to you could be completed faster if you change something? Or you take the last roll of tape off the shelf and it has to be reordered? These are small things, but they have a big impact on the process in a company! That's why it's very important to me that you think along with me and constantly question processes and design them as efficiently as possible.
    • Willingness to learn and initiative: When it comes to new and unfamiliar topics, you are willing to familiarize yourself with a new topic for a few days in order to understand it.
    • Reliability: I'm counting on you. Every single contribution makes a big difference with us and is immediately visible. That's why it's important that I can rely on you - but also that you don't hesitate to ask for help if you need it.
