ECONYL® - A fiber of the future
ECONYL® consists of recycled waste. For example fishing nets, carpet residues and so-called "pre-consumer waste" - i.e. residues that arise in the production process. This leftover nylon can be melted down and spun again. Through a cleaning process, this nylon achieves the same purity as conventional nylon and therefore has exactly the same properties.
ECONYL® is not only ideal for sportswear, but also for bikinis and bathing suits!
The shop also has the matching Seraflex yarn for the ECONYL® fabrics in ash rosé, smoke pine and black. With this thread you can sew elastic seams on your normal household sewing machine and a straight stitch.
Composition: 65% ECONYL® recycled polyamide and 35% elastane.
