Vlieseline ® Framilastic 9mm wide per m

Sewable tape with very high, permanent elasticity. Serves to maintain the shape of elastic seams or can be used to create creative accents, elastic gathers or ruffles. Sewable, very elastic with high tear resistance (up to 450% stretch). Pleasant on the skin, resistant to chlorine and heat-resistant up to 130°C.

Suitable for: women's wear, lingerie, swimwear and sportswear.

Composition: 100% PU

Weight (g/m2): 160g/m²

Care instructions: Do not use fabric softener when washing.

Application:

1. Cut Framilastic shorter than the length to be sewn - depending on how much gathering you want to incorporate.
2. At the beginning of the gathering, sew the ribbon flat (with a zigzag stitch and don't forget to tack) for about 1 cm so that it stays in place. Then stretch the ribbon to the desired length and sew it in place while pulling. When you reach the end, tack it again.
3. When working with Framilastic, the transparent tape should always be pierced in the middle. This way it lies evenly and has an even hold.
